Plain language summary: Use Meriod responsibly. The app is for personal health tracking only — not medical advice. You own your data. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
By downloading, installing, or using Meriod ("the App," "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors to meriod.app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Meriod. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission.
Meriod is a menstrual cycle and symptom tracking application. It includes:

Meriod is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device or service. Nothing in the App — including insights, predictions, or messages from Mia — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
Do not rely on Meriod as a method of contraception or for any medical decision.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@meriod.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not create more than one account per person or share your account with others.
You own the health data and notes you enter into Meriod. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not claim ownership of your personal health data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

Meriod offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.
Partner Mode allows you to share selected cycle data with a person you invite. By using Partner Mode:
Mia is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. Conversations with Mia are processed by Anthropic's API and are subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Mia's responses are generated by an AI model and may not always be accurate. Use Mia's guidance as a starting point, not a substitute for professional medical advice.
The Meriod name, logo, design, and all content we create are our intellectual property. You may not use them without our written permission. Your personal data and content remain yours.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms others. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Meriod is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Cycle predictions are estimates based on logged data and are not guaranteed to be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meriod shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If you are located in Brazil, your rights under the LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados) are not affected by these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Meriod after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
